Mission

At Landas Management, our goal is to provide quality housing and retail space at any economic level. Whether you need a small apartment, or want to develop your own retail space, we want you to be able to contact us to satisfy your needs.

Landas Management was established in 2000 to consolidate the management of several smaller, successful development projects. We currently manage over 120 individual apartments, along with several single family homes and retail and commercial spaces. The most prominent and visible of these projects is Quaker Towne Development, which entailed the acquisition and renovation of fifteen of the most dilapidated, drug infested properties in West Center City Wilmington. Today, these properties represent some of the most upscale low to moderate income apartments you will find anywhere. Included in this project is the conversion of an old estate property at 600 Washington Street into the Studio 600 Art Gallery and Studios. Other development projects include Washington Place, a combination of single family homes and condominiums developed to promote home ownership, and M&M Development, which includes retail and commercial properties available for lease and acquisition.

We are continually expanding, and have recently offered our development, management and partnering services to the public. Because we have the ability to directly oversee or perform so many construction services “in house”, we have been able to at times make a typically over budget proposal affordable. Many management and development companies cannot offer this flexibility, simply because they do not control all of the factors. Our personal experiences, especially with various city and local government agencies overseeing housing, development and financing, also make our firm a desirable partner and strong asset in a client’s decision to develop new property or lease/manage existing property.
